Towards Understanding the Causal Relationships in Proliferating SD Education—A System Dynamics Group Modelling Approach in China

Given the growing importance of system dynamics (SD) in solving increasingly complex and dynamic problems any country, we believe SD education will become an imperative leverage point helping us deal with our uncertain future. This study tries to understand causal relationships proliferating by a group modelling approach China. Based on questionnaire survey model building (GMB) workshop, aim explore interactions feedback loops constructed loop diagram (CLD). uncovers insights into what constitutes growth China helps guide design implementation policies achieve this growth. We conclude that it is important relevant find ways improve, including construction teaching platform integrate normative resources, providing opportunities for teacher training, enhancing availability accessibility education, networks international partners. The results may set foundation further research extend generalizability methodological approaches other countries.
